Russian Federation's imports of Edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers (07 HS Code) in 2015


In 2015 the volume of imported edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers (07 HS Code) volume decreased by 36% and reached 1.9 billion USD compared to 3.0 billion USD in 2014 (see Figure 1).


Russian Federation's imports represent 2.8% of world imports for this product. Its ranking in world imports is 10.

The main exporters supplying edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers to the Russian Federation in 2015 were: China, Turkey, Israel, Egypt and Morocco.


2015 showed a significant rise in Russian imports from Pakistan (+1843%). At the same time the imports from Ukraine (-89%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2, Figure 3).

In 2015 volume of exported edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers (07 HS Code) increased by 63% and reached 0.4 billion USD compared to 0.2 billion USD in 2014 (see Figure 4).
