Russian Federation's imports of live animals (01 HS Code) in 2015



In 2015 the volume of imported live animals (01 HS Code) volume decreased by 9% and reached 236 million USD compared to 259 million USD in 2014 (see Figure 1).


Russian Federation's imports represent 1.11% of world imports for this product. Its ranking in world imports is 22.

Detailed information about products imported by Russian Federation in this category:



2015 showed a large rise in Russian imports of other live cattle (+90%). At the same time the imports of other live horses (-67%) showed a significant fall (see Table 1, Figure 2).

The main exporters supplying live animals to the Russian Federation in 2015 were: Australia, Netherlands, Germany, United States of America and Poland.


2015 showed a significant rise in Russian imports from Belarus (+765%). At the same time the imports from United States of America (-69%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2, Figure 3).

EXPORTS FROM RUSSIA


In 2015 volume of exported live animals (01 HS Code) decreased by 26% and reached 21.5 million USD compared to 28.9 million USD in 2014 (see Figure 4).
