Russian Federation's imports of pearls, precious stones, metals, coins (71 HS Code) in 2015


In 2015 the volume of imported pearls, precious stones, metals, coins (71 HS Code) volume decreased by 46% and reached 0.59 billion USD compared to 1.09 billion USD in 2014 (see Figure 1).


Russian Federation's imports represent 0.18% of world imports for this product. Its ranking in world imports is 31.

The main exporters supplying pearls, precious stones, metals, coins to the Russian Federation in 2015 were: Kazakhstan, China, Thailand, Belarus, Italy.


2015 showed a significant rise in Russian imports from United Kingdom (+72%). At the same time the imports from India (-92%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2, Figure 3).

In 2015 volume of exported pearls, precious stones, metals, coins (71 HS Code) decreased by 37% and reached 7.43 billion USD compared to 11.85 billion USD in 2014 (see Figure 4).
