Russian Federation's imports of fertilizers (31 HS Code) in 2015


In 2015 the volume of imported fertilizers (31 HS Code) volume decreased by 14% and reached 73.2 million USD compared to 85.1 million USD in 2014 (see Figure 1).


Russian Federation's imports represent 0.12% of world imports for this product. Its ranking in world imports is 85.

· Mixtures of..nitrogen, phosphorous or potassium fertilizers (52%)

· Mineral or chemical fertilizers, potassic (31%)

· Mineral or chemical fertilizers, nitrogenous (12%)

· Animal or vegetable fertilizers in packages weighing more than 10 kg (4%)

· Mineral or chemical fertilizers, phosphatic (1%)



2015 showed a large rise in Russian imports of mineral or chemical fertilizers, potassic (+63%). At the same time the imports of animal or vegetable fertilizers in packages weighing more than 10 kg (-55%) showed a significant fall (see Table 1, Figure 2).

The main exporters supplying fertilizers to the Russian Federation in 2015 were: Belarus, Lithuania, Belgium, Germany, Poland.


2015 showed a significant rise in Russian imports from Greece (+17%). At the same time the imports from Israel (-75%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2, Figure 3).

EXPORTS FROM RUSSIA


In 2015 volume of exported fertilizers (31 HS Code) decreased by 4% and reached 8.6 billion USD compared to 9 billion USD in 2014 (see Figure 4).
