Russia’s import of dried plums was 116 times as much as its export. Moreover, the import volume increased, while the export volume reduced.
For 11 months of 2018 Russia imported 17.6 thous. tn of dried plums (+48.8%) worth $33.8 mln (+49.2%). Russia’s export of this production amounted to only 228.5 tn (-16.3%) worth $289.4 thous. (-12.7%).
The main dried plums suppliers to Russia included such countries as Chili (44.4%), Argentina (35.7%), Moldova (11.4%), Uzbekistan (6%), Serbia (1.2%) and Armenia (0.8%). This production was exported to Russia by 14 countries.Russia exported dried plums to 10 countries. Among the major importers of Russian dried plums there were Ukraine (39.6%), Belarus (20.7%), Mongolia (17.6%) and Kazakhstan (16.8%).
From January to April, 2019 Orel region’s export to Germany increased by 7% compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $5.9 mln.
From January to April, 2019 Pskov region’s export to Spain went up by 1.64 mln. compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $1.65 mln.
In 2018 Russia became the world’s largest exporter of fuel elements (cartridges). Its export volume amounted to $981 mln or 44% of world’s fuel element export.
