In the first half of 2018 Russiaís import of soy sauce has increased by 21% compared to the same period of 2017.
Russia has imported soy sauce from 20 countries for a total amount of $10.82 mln. The main soy sauce suppliers, which have accounted for 98% of Russia’s import in terms of value, have been such countries as the Netherlands (37.2%), China (27.5%), Vietnam (12.5%), the Republic of Korea (9.7%), Japan (3.7%), the United Kingdom (3.3%), the USA (2.2%) and Taiwan (1.8%).
Chinaís soy sauce import in terms of value has been passed by the Netherlands. Nevertheless China has become the largest soy sauce supplier to Russia in terms of volume and outstripped the Netherlands. China has exported to Russia 3.6 thous. tn of soy sauce worth $2.98 mln, while the Netherlands has exported to Russia 2.4 thous. tn of this product worth $4.02 mln.
From January to April, 2019 Orel regionís export to Germany increased by 7% compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $5.9 mln.
From January to April, 2019 Pskov regionís export to Spain went up by 1.64 mln. compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $1.65 mln.
In 2018 Russia became the worldís largest exporter of fuel elements (cartridges). Its export volume amounted to $981 mln or 44% of worldís fuel element export.
