For the first five months of 2018 Saratov Region has exported more than 397 thous. tn of high analysis nitrogen-phosphate fertilizer (ammonium) worth $138.57 mln, it is a 11% increase compared to the same period of 2017.
The largest nitrogen-phosphate fertilizer supplies have been exported by Saratov Region to the USA (56%), Brazil (25%) and Poland (15%).
Besides, Saratov’s fertilizer has been imported by Ukraine, Greece, Latvia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Switzerland.
Saratov Region has accounted for 43% of Russia’s ammonium export and became the leading Russian region for nitrogen-phosphate fertilizer export.
Leningrad Region has ranked 2nd (26.3% of Russia’s ammonium export), Krasnodar Territory has ranked 3rd (18.1%), while Moscow Region has ranked 4th (12.4%). From January to May, 2018 Russia has exported more than 880 thous. tn of ammonium worth $321.91 mln.This fertilizer is used in plant growing as the main fertilizer for all crops on different soil types.
From January to April, 2019 Orel region’s export to Germany increased by 7% compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $5.9 mln.
From January to April, 2019 Pskov region’s export to Spain went up by 1.64 mln. compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $1.65 mln.
In 2018 Russia became the world’s largest exporter of fuel elements (cartridges). Its export volume amounted to $981 mln or 44% of world’s fuel element export.
