Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the Governor of Ingushetia, has offered investors to create greenhouse facilities to grow vegetables on an industrial scale in various settlements of Ingushetia to be subsequently exported to Saudi Arabia. "Every investor will be provided with 20 hectares of land to grow vegetables both on fields and inside greenhouse complexes. Subject to the partners' proposals, the area of available greenhouse facilities will be increased up to 120 hectares," the Governor of the Republic told. He also noted that Ingushetia might be represented on a government level by a project by LLC Giant Garden Ingushetia which had been already commissioned to grow fruits based on Italian technology. The investors' attention was drawn to the need to explore the growing of other types of agricultural products and exporting them to Saudi Arabia. We remind that an Ingush delegation headed by Yunus-Bek Evkurov visited Saudi Arabia early this month. During the visit, the Governor of the Republic discussed cooperation with King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, representatives of local businesses, Governor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar and other officials.
