Chinese businesses will participate in the creation of balneological resorts in the Sakhalin Region and hotel construction projects to promote tourism, according to the Regional Government's Press Office.
A series of negotiations have already been held with Chinese investors regarding the joint constriction of hotels in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and arrangement of balneological resorts. Chinese investors were offered to visit the region in the short term to select sites for future hotels.
Apart from cooperation in tourism, Chinese investors are going to explore participation opportunities for developing the Region's fishing industry such as fish and seafood deep processing projects.
