Kerama Marazzi intends to invest RUB 2.4 billion to create a granite production compound in the Orel Region.
The project will be implemented based on the company's factory which already operates in Orel. It is expected that the facility's capacity will be 5.8 million square meters of products per annum and its commissioning is planned to take place in the first quarter of 2018. The implementation of the investment project will allow increasing the share of the ceramic granite and ceramic tiles segment held by Kerama Marazzi in the Russian market to 22.5%.
Kerama Marazzi manufactures ceramic tiles in the Orel Region. Unberto Maffia is its CEO. The company was founded by Mohawk Marazzi Russia B.V. (Netherlands) and CJSC Kerama Center (Moscow) owned by Welko Industriale (Italy).
