Domino's Pizza, an international company specializing in pizza production and delivery, has opened its first restaurant in Russia operating on a franchise basis.

Domino's Pizza, an international company specializing in pizza production and delivery, has opened its first restaurant in Russia operating on a franchise basis. For the first week-ends of its operation, the restaurant received more than RUB 370,000 of revenues. Maria Bogdanova, a private investor, has become the first franchisee of Domino's in Russia.

Domino's announced about the launch of its franchise unit as early as in March 2016 and accepted cooperation bids for six months. For the first 3 months, the company received more than 100 partnership proposals from potential franchisees with the most promising of them having been awarded agreements with Domino's. Concurrently, corporate outlets continue to be opened with the retail chain now comprising 50 restaurant and intending to have grown to 70 as early as by the end of the year.

Domino`s features more than 12 thousand pizza parlors in 80 countries of the world annually cooking more than 300 million pizzas.
