Yakutia's government is considering various options for attracting investments to the Republic. In particular, Chinese partners may take part in tinning and oil processing projects. One of the projects the Chinese investors took interest in is the construction of an oil refinery in Aldana.
"Interaction with Yunxin Investment Fund has resulted in us receiving information about CNPC's initial interest in the Aladan Refinery Project", Governor Egor Borisov of the Republic said.
The 2 mtpa oil refinery project capable of achieving up to 95% advanced refining is being implemented by Tuymaada-Neft, a Republic-based company. It is planned that the facility will produce bitumen, gasoline, diesel, jet and ship fuel, sulfur and liquefied gas. The amount to be invested into the facility is estimated at almost RUB 130.4 billion.
