The management of Saipem SpA (Italy) has expressed its interest in participating in the project devoted to the creation in Tatarstan of Ammonium 2 Project, the second ammonia, methanol and granulated carbamide production facility, according to the Tatarstan President's Press Office.


In particular, Janluka Aliotta noted that as part of its efforts made to construct the first phase of the Ammonium Project, Saipem SpA acted as licensor in respect of carbamide synthesis technology. The relevant unit was successfully designed, constructed and commissioned in the third quarter of 2015.


The Italian party also voiced a number of proposals in the course of the meeting relating to the construction of a pyrolysis plant and polyethylene and polypropylene plants for the needs of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim.
