Several new investment projects in the field of biotechnology is implemented in the Tyumen region. According to regional authorities, and the direction of biochemical processing of vegetable raw materials - the scope, allowing to make a breakthrough in import substitution.


"Over the realization of these tasks Tyumen region working for the last few years. Now, taking into account the difficult situation in the economy, especially important to keep up the momentum. Especially that several investment projects reached the finish line ", - said Vladimir Yakushev.


In the autumn of this year in Ishim it planned to put into operation the second phase of the industrial giant - "AminoSib" plant. Fully he should earn in the winter 2017. One tonne of wheat here will produce 250 kilograms of lysine, 100 pounds of gluten, 170 liters of alcohol, 200 kilograms of feed concentrate. The plant itself, when viewed from the air, because of the vast territory and a large number of industrial units looks like a new neighborhood of the city. The project receives financial support for large-scale government of the Tyumen region.


The next scheduled to be entering production of premixes (feed additives) at the site of the industrial park in the village Bogandinsky Tyumen region. The International company "Cargill" reserved area of 20 hectares with the aim of further development of the industrial chain in the same territory. The regional government will provide preferential rent section and engagement of all necessary communications, as well as tax incentives to the manufacturer.


"In the autumn of this year in Tyumen planned to launch pilot production of sucralose - intense heat stable sweetener. In case of success of the project investor is willing to build a commercial production at the new site, "- said the deputy governor Vadim Shumkov.


In parallel, there is a design of a new plant for the canning of vegetables in the city Yalutorovsk. Its construction will start this year. The basis of the experience of the Hungarian partners is taken. The project will receive concessional financing.


The regional authorities have initiated two more projects using biochemical orientation of developments of Russian scientists: the production of betulin from local herbs and xanthan gum. Decisions on the start of their construction must be taken before the end of this year.


Currently, the government of the Tyumen region in talks with several more major investors in the direction of the processing of vegetable raw materials and the development of new biochemical industries.
