India's Ambassador Plenipotentiary Pankaj Saran has stated at a meeting held with Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky of the Primorye Territory that Indian investors plan to take part in the development of Mikhailovsky Priority Development Area.
According to him, Indian businesses took interest in the PDA as it makes a special focus on agriculture.
Mikhailovsky PDA will specifically accommodate large-scale agricultural facilities and centers devoted to the deep processing of agricultural produce and related logistics. It comprises two sites called Spassko-Chernigovskaya and Nekruglovo. The PDA's residents include six companies engaged in the growing of soy beans and cereal crops as well as livestock breeding.
