Luxembourg Ambassador arrives at Kamchatka Peninsula
Vitaly Ivanenko, the First Deputy Director of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky's Administration, has held a meeting with Pierre Ferring, an Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The welcome ceremony took place in the City Administration on the day before. Luxemburg's Ambassador arrived at Kamchatka on a friendly visit as part of his familiarization tour. At the meeting, the parties discussed Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky's rich tourist potential and expressed their hope for mutual cooperation.
Vitaly Ivanenko emphasized that Luxembourg is one of Europe's leading financial centers. It accommodates a lot of organizations associated with financial services. Accordingly, there are wide information dissemination options. Frequent events, such as seminars, exhibitions and conferences, afford the opportunity to bring interesting proposals from Kamchatka to the notice of representatives of the West European business community.
In his turn, Pierre Ferring thanked Vitaly Ivanenko for warm hospitality and expressed readiness for further cooperation. "Kamchatka features huge tourist potential. It has beautiful nature and good people. In developing tourist infrastructure, this astonishing place may be given a brand new and far-reaching momentum for development. I will certainly recommend to my fellow citizens to visit this beautiful peninsula", the Ambassador said.
