LLC Angel East RUS, a subsidiary of Chinese Angel Yeast Co., Ltd, which is in charge of constructing a yeast plant in the "RU Dankov" Special Economic Zone has completed foundation work and proceeded to installing storage reservoirs.
"On-site operations are carried out in accordance with the schedule and, as planned, will have been completed by the end of 2017", the Agency's interlocutor noted.
Angel Yeast Co., Ltd plans to construct the instant yeast facility in the Lipetsk Region for RUB 5.3 billion. The plant will use microbiological methods for producing distillers yeasts, food yeasts, fodder yeasts as well as yeasts designed for pharmaceutical industry.
The capacity of Angel Yeast RUS's plant will be 20 ktpa. This accounts to approximately 12% of the Russian dry instant yeast market.
Angel Yeast Co., Ltd is the world's largest yeast manufacturer. The group comprises 10 plants making bakery yeasts, distillers yeasts, yeast extracts, biological fodder yeasts, biotic substrates and pharmaceutical raw materials.
