A delegation from Germany is visiting the Belgorod as part of its working trip. Representatives of Schikling and Big Dutchman (Germany) have discussed with Agro-Belogorye Group a future plant intended to be constructed to manufacture equipment for the agricultural sector.
Agro-Belogorye to construct a greenfield factory jointly with German partners
A delegation from Germany is visiting the Belgorod as part of its working trip. Representatives of Schikling and Big Dutchman (Germany) have discussed with Agro-Belogorye Group a future plant intended to be constructed to manufacture equipment for the agricultural sector.
The joint-venture company's name is SMZ-TECHNOLOGY. Its production site will be situated at the Belgorod Region, just a step away from Razumnoye Village. Yesterday, the future site of the plant was visited by Russian and German partners. Agro-Belogorye is implementing the project jointly with Big Dutchman and Schikling connected with the Group by a long-standing cooperation.
Schikling was represented by German Schikling, its owner and founder. The Company specializes in metal processing and manufactures items for various industries. Schikling acts as one of Big Dutchman's contractors, producing equipment for the agroindustry.
In the course of the meeting, the project's leaders and managers discussed financing, designing and construction aspects as well as production technology and software to be used by the facility. The German delegation's itinerary is going to take 2 days. Today has been devoted to the equipment to be used by the future plant. The partners from Germany assumed the selection and delivery of all process equipment, including installation and personnel training.
In early 2017, the facility will output the first lot of its own products. The project's investment cost will be around EUR 10 million.
