South Korean company may manufacture spare parts for heavy vehicles in Komsomolsk

Last week, guests from South Korea visited Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The CEO and the Director of Products Sale and Aftersale Support of Pukdoo Industrial Co., Ltd have visited Amurlitmash, one of facilities located in the Komsomolsk priority social and economic development area. The Korean businessmen are considering the opportunity of arranging the production of spare parts for specialized heavy machinery.

Apart from the trip to the production site, a meeting with the City's Mayor was arranged for the Korean guests. Andrei Klimov told potential residents about the level of support the foreign investors may reckon on from local authorities and assured them that if they become residents of the priority social and economic development area, all necessary efforts will be made to ensure that the company operates successfully. So far, the foreign guests are only sizing up operational opportunities afforded by Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

The Korean firm is not the only foreign company expressing interest in operating at the priority development area's sites in Komsomolsk. Previously, SINOTRUK signed a memorandum of understanding with the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Development and Investments Agency intending to implement its own investment project relating to the assembling of cars.
