The Expert Council of the Ministry of Economic Development has approved five applications for implementing investment projects in Lipetsk Special Economic Zone. The total amount to be invested is estimated at RUB 18.6 billion.

The Expert Council of the Ministry of Economic Development has approved five applications for implementing investment projects in Lipetsk Special Economic Zone. The total amount to be invested is estimated at RUB 18.6 billion. Each three of five projects envisage the greenfield construction of facilities. The rest of the projects are aimed to expand the existing facilities hosted by the SEZ.

Belaya Dacha's potato processing plant is the largest of the declared facilities expecting to receive RUB 9.6 billion of investments.

French Schlumberger is planning to implement a project to manufacture components for electric-centrifugal pumps. The total amount to be invested until 2018 will be RUB 3.8 billion.

LLC Izolyat, an Israeli company, will produce soybean isolates, soybean oil and feed additives. The company wants to establish its own facility producing soybean isolates to replace imported isolates. The total amount declared to be invested is RUB 3.351 billion. The facility plans to output its first products in 2018.

BS Processing, a Russian limited liability company, intends to invest more than RUB 4 billion to establish a metal-roll processing facility capable of applying decorative coatings to its products, among other things. The commissioning of the facility is scheduled for 2017.

ABB, a Swiss and Sweden concern, has decided to construct in Lipetsk SEZ its second plant to manufacture mid-voltage metal-clad switchgear cabinets and components for them. The total amount to be invested into the two plants will be RUB 1.5 billion. The second plant will be commissioned in 2018.
