Governor Tsukanov of the Kaliningrad District told that Spanish investors have expressed interest in the Region's agricultural projects. An agreement was reached with the investors during a Kaliningrad Delegation's visit to Spain.

"We visited Spain to look at its tourist cluster and gardens specifically. We visited northern regions to see the varieties of apples used to make juices and other products. We inspected meat processing facilities belonging to the pig breeding industry", Nikolay Tsukanov said. "We have reached agreement in principle. The investors will respond a bit later. And they have expressed interest and will second their first delegates to come here."
