On April 11, Primoz Seligo - the Ambassador of Slovenia in Russia met with Evgeniy Kuyvashev - the Governor of Sverdlovsk region to discuss Slovenian interest in localization of the high-quality production in Ural.
The visit of Slovenian delegation to the Central Ural region was the first one in 5 years. Discussion topics included potential measures of further cooperation in trade-economic, scientific and humanitarian spheres.
«We are very interested in partnership with Sverdlovsk region. We are going to set up an Honorary Consulate here and endorse an agreement or memorandum for cooperation as a basis for further discussion about manufacturing localization in the region», -said Primoz Seligo.
Slovenian delegation suggested setting up a joint manufacture of sport equipment and air-inflated structures that can be used in agricultural complex as warehouses.
«There are some positive examples of cooperation between Slovenia and Russia – highly demanded products of «IskraUralTEL» and transfer of Slovenian technologies and equipment to «Ekover» plant in Asbest and others», - said Evgeniy Kuyvashev.
Russia and Slovenia are going to exchange information for further cooperation and plan to sign a memorandum of understanding during the upcoming business conference.
