Austrians may take part in creating balneological cluster at CMW

The Stavropol Territory is being visited by a delegation representing the Austrian business community headed by Richard Schenz, the Vice President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.

The Stavropol Territory is being visited by a delegation representing the Austrian business community headed by Richard Schenz, the Vice President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. The delegation comprises 10 Austrian companies representing various industrial sectors. These include entities specializing in solutions designed for automating hydroelectric power stations and food processors, manufacturing of equipment for hydroelectric power mini-stations, designing and equipping of healthcare and wellness tourism institutions, livestock breeding, manufacturing equipment for hospitality and restaurant businesses and transport services.


The Stavropol Territory Government is conducive to close interaction with the Austrians, in particular, as regards balneotherapy and agroindustrial nanoscale technology.


At the meeting with the delegation's members, Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov reminded that Austria is a long-standing business partner for our country and region. "The Stavropol Territory is ready to create favorable conditions in line with the Russian laws for foreign investors to carry out business activities inside the Region. Our Region is interested in the technology employed by out European colleagues in agriculture as well as in the designing and engineering of tourist and healthcare facilities", the Governor noted.


All the more so as the Region has ambitious plans on creating an innovative healthcare cluster at the Caucasian Mineral Waters. A project for such healthcare cluster is being developed nowadays. It is expected to comprise a general diagnostic center and an in-patient facility for 1300 to 1500 beds to offer technology intensive medical aid in the frontmost areas.
