Swiss company to construct energy-efficient residential block in Saint Petersburg for RUB 18.5 bln
NCC, a Swiss concern, will construct a residential compound in Saint Petersburg costing RUB 18.5 billion. An appropriate agreement has been executed with the City's Investments Committee at the MIPIM exhibition taking place in Cannes.
The deed provides for the implementation of an investment project on constructing a residential multifamily house at 11 Magnitogorskaya Street, Krasnogvardeysky District.
The 'pilot' house will feature zero power consumption thanks to using renewable energy sources, namely, wind mini-generators, solar panels and the Okhta River's thermal energy. The project will also take the benefit of advanced engineering technology and systems such as recuperation, single engineering center and VDC.
The compound will also include items of social infrastructure – a kindergarten and primary school. The investor's funds will also be used to improve the municipal pedestrian embankment adjoining the site and to create quays for canoe and motor boats.
