VSU strengthens relations with France through a dual degree programme

The Voronezh State University has executed an agreement with the Institut Supérieur du Commerce de Paris to establish and embark on implementing a dual degree programme called "General Management" as part of Executive MBA retraining, as reported by Abireg's reporter who attended the event.

According to the VSU's First Vice President for Education Elena Chupandina, the "General Management" programme has been accredited in the European educational environment and focuses on a "very narrow group of top managers".

In turn, Philip Werber, an Advisor to France for Foreign Economic Affairs and President of MEDEF Champagne-Ardenne International Commission, stressed that the economic sanctions must not prevent international educational contacts from being developed: "I'm sure that none of interdictory efforts may interfere with the development of relations between Russia and France, the sanctions and embargo may not prevent knowledge exchange. To ensure successful operation, each enterprise needs highly skilled personnel. The programmes being implemented jointly with the Voronezh State University are aimed to tackle the issue."

We would note that when executing the agreement, the parties discussed the potential creation of an International Scientific Council that will include Russian and French representatives of educational bodies and regional and municipal government agencies as well as representatives of Russian and French businesses. The main mission of such council to be maintaining the level of education at a permanent level.
