A German industrial park featuring perfumery and pharmaceutical production may be created in the Moscow Region

An industrial park with German companies manufacturing perfumery products, pharmaceuticals, food and household chemicals may be created in localities near Moscow, as reported by Denis Butsayev, a Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government and Regional Minister for Investments and Innovations, based on the results of negotiations held with Prime Minister of Bavaria Horst Seehofer.

"We discussed that these may be facilities dealing with fine chemical treatment to produce what we normally consider as mass consumption products but featuring a chemical technology. This includes perfumery products, pharmaceuticals, food and household chemicals, some personal effects", he said.

The possibility of creating such a park has been negotiated with Bavarian authorities for several years already. "Much time was devoted to discussing economic relations and the plans that we have been promoting with Bavaria's Ministry of Economic Development for several years. This is an opportunity to create a German industrial park in the Moscow Region to ensure that the companies that come here feel like home and that the area in such park is ready to promptly commission production", Mr. Butsayev said.

According to him, Bavarians have been offered several appropriate sites and the regional government is now considering options.

Mr. Butsayev and Mr. Seehofer have previously held a working meeting to discuss scientific and cultural cooperation and potential joint efforts in agribusiness.
