A logistic center of the Auchan retail chain is going to appear in the territory of the Southern Gates Logistic Center. The amount to be invested in the first phase of the construction will total RUB 6 bln.
The funds will be allocated for constructing 100,000 square meters of storage facilities. Approximately 80% of the facilities will be reserved for storing commodities of Moscow-area suppliers. 15% and 4% will be allocated for storing products of regional and foreign manufacturers respectively. The first phase of the logistic complex is expected to be commissioned in 2018. Reportedly, the area of the facility will eventually increase since the parameters of the plot located at the Kashirskoye Highway make it possible. The second stage of the project provides for the construction of an area designated for storing fresh products.
