Italian company Barilla develops its production facilities in Russia. About EUR 50 million were invested into Barilla plant in the city of Solnechnogorsk (Moscow Region) producing bread, cookies and spaghetti. The last tranche amounting to EUR 15 million has been transferred just recently.
Barilla is the largest Italian company, founded in 1877. The company has its representative offices in many countries of the world and has been actively operating in Russia for several years. The production plant in Solnechnogorsk was constructed for EUR 30 million and launched in 2006.
