Chinese company Great Wall Motors has started the construction work on its future automobile plant. A solemn ceremony marking the start of construction work took place in the territory of industrial park “Uzlovaya”.
“Tula Region Development Corporation actively works to create an infrastructure of the industrial park. Electrical substation is currently under construction, and in the nearest future we are building motor road and gas- and water-supply networks. Uzlovsky industrial park will be a profitable location for many enterprises, including the partners of Great Wall. Today we are in negotiation with companies producing auto parts and offer them to develop their production with us”, informed Denis Tichonov, the General Director of Tula Region Development Corporation.
Zhang Junxue, the General Director of Haval Motor Manufacturing Rus LLC, told about the ground work for the construction: “Over the year with the help of Tula region authorities and the Development Corporation, we were preparing the construction. The work was tense, but today we can proudly share with you our accomplishments. At the moment, the design of the plant is completed, and the project is submitted for state examination. We have received permission for excavation works and have prepared and developed the land”.
After the official part, Denis Tichonov and Zhang Junxue symbolically started the construction work and took part in test-drive of Haval H6 and H9.
