Peugeot, Citroen and Mitsubishi will stay in Kaluga

In spite of the crisis, PSA Peugeot Citroen, French auto manufacturer, and its Japanese partner Mitsubishi Motors will continue to work jointly in Kaluga, as the general director of PSMA factory Jean-Christophe Marshal said at the 6th interational forum for auto manufacturers AutoEvolution in Kaluga.

In spite of the crisis, PSA Peugeot Citroen, French auto manufacturer, and its Japanese partner Mitsubishi Motors will continue to work jointly in Kaluga, as the general director of PSMA factory Jean-Christophe Marshal said at the 6th interational forum for auto manufacturers AutoEvolution in Kaluga.


“We are now in the middle of a big crisis, but both PSA Peugeot Citroen and MMS have decided to stay in Russia. We have invested a lot in automobile plants in Russia. And these plants were created in the long run”, highlighted Marshal. According to Marshal, the company also plans to export automotive components and reckons on state support for component suppliers.


Peugeot-Citroen-Mitsubishi factory in Kaluga produces Citroen C4 Sedan, Peugeot 408, Mitsubishi Outlander and Pagero Sport. The factory was founded in industrial park Rosva in 2010.
