St. Petersburg Foreign Trade in 2015


In 2015 St. Petersburg foreign trade volume decreased by 34% and reached 33.1 billion USD compared to 50.1 billion USD in 2014.


Imports to St. Petersburg fell by 35% to 19.3 billion USD while exports from St. Petersburg fell by 32% to 13.8 billion USD (see Figure 1).

St. Petersburg Imports


In 2015 St. Petersburg imported the following products (see Figure 2, Table 1):

▪ Food Products and raw materials (19%)

▪ Chemical products, rubber (13%)

▪ Metals and products from them (6%)

▪ Textiles, textile products and footwear (5%)

▪ Wood and pulp and paper products (3%)

▪ Mineral products (1%)
