Russian Federation's imports of dairy produce, birds' eggs and natural honey (04 HS Code) in 2015


In 2015 the volume of imported dairy produce, birds' eggs and natural honey (04 HS Code) volume decreased by 47% and reached 2.0 billion USD compared to 3.8 billion USD in 2014 (see Figure 1).


Russian Federation's imports represent 2.62% of world imports for this product. Its ranking in world imports is 11.

2015 showed a large rise in Russian imports of turtles' eggs, birds' nests and other edible products of animal origin (+72%). At the same time the imports of natural honey (-65%) showed a significant fall (see Table 1, Figure 2).

The main exporters supplying dairy produce, birds' eggs and natural honey to the Russian Federation in 2015 were: Belarus, Argentina, Netherlands, Uruguay and Germany.


2015 showed a significant rise in Russian imports from Armenia (+95%). At the same time the imports from Ukraine (-88%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2, Figure 3).

EXPORTS FROM RUSSIA


In 2015 volume of exported dairy produce, birds' eggs and natural honey (04 HS Code) decreased by 30% and reached 0.22 billion USD compared to 0.32 billion USD in 2014 (see Figure 4).
