Russian Federation's imports of tools, implements, cutlery, etc of base metal (82 HS Code) in 2015


In 2015 the volume of imported tools, implements, cutlery, etc of base metal (82 HS Code) volume decreased by 32% and reached 1.3 billion USD compared to 1.9 billion USD in 2014 (see Figure 1).


Russian Federation's imports represent 2.12 % of world imports for this product. Its ranking in world imports is 12.

The main exporters supplying tools, implements, cutlery, etc of base metal to the Russian Federation in 2015 were: China, Germany, Republic of Korea, United States of America, Japan.


2015 showed a significant rise in Russian imports from Republic of Korea (+71%). At the same time the imports from Turkey (-68%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2, Figure 3).

In 2015 volume of exported tools, implements, cutlery, etc of base metal (82 HS Code) decreased by 27% and reached 0.16 billion USD compared to 0.22 billion USD in 2014 (see Figure 4).
