Russian Federation's imports of lead and articles thereof (78 HS Code) in 2015


In 2015 the volume of imported lead and articles thereof (78 HS Code) volume decreased by 1% and reached 5.6 million USD compared to 5.7 million USD in 2014 (see Figure 1).


Russian Federation's imports represent 0.09% of world imports for this product. Its ranking in world imports is 60.

2015 showed a large rise in Russian imports of lead waste and scrap (+2130%). At the same time the imports of lead plates, sheets, strip and foil (-44%) showed a significant fall (see Table 1, Figure 2).

The main exporters supplying lead and articles thereof to the Russian Federation in 2015 were: Kazakhstan, China, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, Turkey.

2015 showed a significant rise in Russian imports from Chile (+30000%). At the same time the imports from France (-86%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2, Figure 3).

In 2015 volume of exported lead and articles thereof (78 HS Code) decreased by 9% and reached 172.4 million USD compared to 188.8 million USD in 2014 (see Figure 4).
