Russian Federation's imports of base metals, cermets, articles thereof (81 HS Code) in 2015


In 2015 the volume of imported base metals, cermets, articles thereof (81 HS Code) volume decreased by 24% and reached 231.8 million USD compared to 303.2 million USD in 2014 (see Figure 1).


Russian Federation's imports represent 1.34% of world imports for this product. Its ranking in world imports is 16.

2015 showed a large rise in Russian imports of manganese and articles thereof, including waste and scrap (+24%). At the same time the imports of antimony and articles thereof, including waste and scrap (-79%) showed a significant fall (see Table 1, Figure 2).

The main exporters supplying base metals, cermets, articles thereof to the Russian Federation in 2015 were: China, Ukraine, United States of America, Kazakhstan, Germany.


2015 showed a significant rise in Russian imports from Estonia (+284333%). At the same time the imports from Uzbekistan (-92%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2, Figure 3).

EXPORTS FROM RUSSIA


In 2015 volume of exported base metals, cermets, articles thereof (81 HS Code) decreased by 11% and reached 715.3 billion USD compared to 804.3 billion USD in 2014 (see Figure 4).
