Moroccan -Russian Bilateral Trade in 2015


In 2015 Moroccan -Russian bilateral trade volume decreased by 32% and reached 1,035 million USD compared to 1,518 million USD in 2014.


Moroccan exports to Russia fell to 487 million USD (by 17%) while imports fell to 547 million USD (by 41%) (see Figure 1).

Moroccan exports to Russia


Morocco primarily exports to Russia the following products (see Figure 2, Table 1):




In 2015 the imports of Moroccan made products in Russia experienced a significant rise. The imports of apples, pears and quinces, fresh rise by 2260%; the imports of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas, fresh or chilled- by 1240%.

Russian exports to Morocco


In 2015 Russia has exported to Morocco the following products (see Figure 3, Table 2):



2015 showed a significant rise in Russian exports to Morocco of semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel (+273%). At the same time the exports of wheat and meslin (-95%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2).
