Algerian-Russian Bilateral Trade in 2015


In 2015 Algerian-Russian bilateral trade volume increased by 48% and reached 1.2 billion USD compared to 0.8 billion USD in 2014.

Algerian exports to Russia fell to 0.01 billion USD (by 45%) while imports rose to 1.19 billion USD (by 49%) (see Figure 1).

Algerian exports to Russia


Algeria primarily exports to Russia the following products (see Figure 2, Table 1):




In 2015 the imports of Algerian made products in Russia experienced a significant rise. The imports of fruits, nuts and other edible parts of plants rise by 100%; the imports of locust beans- by 64%.

Russian exports to Algeria


In 2015 Russia has exported to Algerian the following products (see Figure 3, Table 2):




2015 showed a significant rise in Russian exports to Algeria of transmission shafts (+3324%). At the same time the exports of barley (-78%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2).
