Azerbaijani-Russian Bilateral Trade in 2015


In 2015 Azerbaijani-Russian bilateral trade volume increased by 6% and reached 2.75 billion USD compared to 2.59 billion USD in 2014.


Azerbaijani exports to Russia rose to 0.51 billion USD (by 13%) while imports rose to 2.24 billion USD (by 5%) (see Figure 1).

Azerbaijani exports to Russia


Azerbaijan primarily exports to Russia the following products (see Figure 2, Table 1):




In 2015 the imports of Azerbaijani made products in Russia experienced a significant fall. The imports of articles of iron or steel fell by 75%; the imports of coffee, tea, mate and spices- by 41%.

Russian exports to Azerbaijan


In 2015 Russia has exported to Azerbaijan the following products (see Figure 3, Table 2):




2015 showed a significant rise in Russian exports to Azerbaijan of railway, tramway locomotives, rolling stock, equipment (+1505%). At the same time the exports of mineral fuels, oils, distillation products (-63%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2).
