Vietnamese-Russian Bilateral Trade in 2015


In 2015 Vietnamese-Russian bilateral trade volume increased by 31% and reached 3.84 billion USD compared to 2.94 billion USD in 2014.


Vietnamese exports to Russia fell to 2.02 billion USD (by 12%) while imports rose to 1.82 billion USD (by 182%) (see Figure 1).

Vietnamese exports to Russia


Viet Nam primarily exports to Russia the following products (see Figure 2, Table 1):



In 2015 the imports of Vietnamese made products in Russia experienced a significant fall. The imports of edible fruit, nuts, peel of citrus fruit, melons fell by 49%; the imports of machinery, nuclear reactors, boilers- by 39%.

Russian exports to Viet Nam


In 2015 Russia has exported to Viet Nam the following products (see Figure 3, Table 2):



2015 showed a significant rise in Russian exports to Viet Nam of vehicles other than railway, tramway (+237%). At the same time the exports of iron and steel (-63%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2).
