Turkmenistanian-Russian Bilateral Trade in 2015


In 2015 Turkmenistanian-Russian bilateral trade volume decreased by 21% and reached 0.97 billion USD compared to 1.23 billion USD in 2014.


Turkmenistanian exports to Russia fell to 0.07 billion USD (by 20%) while imports fell to 0.90 billion USD (by 21%) (see Figure 1).

Turkmenistanian exports to Russia


Turkmenistan primarily exports to Russia the following products (see Figure 2, Table 1):




In 2015 the imports of Turkmenistanian made products in Russia experienced a significant fall. The imports of machinery, nuclear reactors, boilers fell by 90%; the imports of articles of apparel, accessories, knit or crochet- by 69%.

Russian exports to Turkmenistan


In 2015 Russia has exported to Turkmenistan the following products (see Figure 3, Table 2):



2015 showed a significant rise in Russian exports to Turkmenistan of vehicles other than railway, tramway (+131%). At the same time the exports of machinery, nuclear reactors, boilers (-44%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2).
