Mozambican-Russian Bilateral Trade in 2015


In 2015 Mozambican-Russian bilateral trade volume decreased by 25% and reached 40.6 million USD compared to 53.9 million USD in 2014.


Mozambican exports to Russia rose to 24.3 million USD (by 15%) while imports fell to 16.3 million USD (by 50%) (see Figure 1).

Mozambican exports to Russia


Mozambique primarily exports to Russia the following products (see Figure 2, Table 1):




In 2015 the imports of Mozambican made products in Russia experienced a significant rise . The imports of tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes rise by 20%; the imports of products of animal origin- by 11%.

Russian exports to Mozambique


In 2015 Russia has exported to Mozambique the following products (see Figure 3, Table 2):




2015 showed a significant rise in Russian exports to Mozambique of articles of iron or steel (+29%). At the same time the exports of electrical, electronic equipment (-96%) showed a significant fall (see Table 2).
