In 2018 Russia became the world’s largest exporter of fuel elements (cartridges). Its export volume amounted to $981 mln or 44% of world’s fuel element export.
Russia exported this production to 14 countries, mainly to Ukraine, China, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. These countries accounted for 70% of Russia’s fuel element export. Slovakia became the fastest-growing importer of Russian fuel elements and doubled its export compared to 2017.
