In the first quarter of 2019 Russia’s chocolate export increased by 4% (+$5.6 mln) compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $142 mln.
The export geography covered 57 countries, primarily Kazakhstan, China, Belarus and Azerbaijan. These countries accounted for 52% of Russia’s chocolate goods supplies.
In the first quarter of 2019 Russia’s chocolate export to Kazakhstan stood at $28 mln (19% of all Russia’s export of this good), it is a 15% increase compared to the same period of 2018.
Supplies to China reached $19 mln (14% of all Russia’s chocolate export), it is a 12% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
Export supplies to Belarus decreased by 27% to $14 mln (10% of all Russia’s chocolate export).
