In the first quarter of 2019 Russia’s export to Bangladesh had a 53% increase compared to the same period of 2018 and reached $119 mln.
The major volumes of supplies were constituted by wheat and meslin (a 3-fold increase), iron or steel sheet piling (not exported in the first quarter of 2018), dried leguminous vegetables (a 25-fold increase), petroleum oils and oils from bituminous minerals (not crude) (+28%), structures of iron or steel (not exported in the first quarter of 2018), asbestos (a 2-fold increase), oil seeds and oleaginous fruits (-47%), ferrous waste and scrap (not exported in the first quarter of 2018), phosphinates (a 24-fold increase), refractory cements (not exported in the first quarter of 2018), wood pulp obtained by a combination of mechanical and chemical pulping processes (not exported in the first quarter of 2018). These goods provided 96% of Russia’s export to Bangladesh.
