Russia’s Export To The Philippines More Than Doubled In The First Quarter Of 2019

In the first quarter of 2019 Russia’s export to the Philippines had a 2.3-fold increase compared to the same period of 2018 and reached $178 mln.

The major export goods included semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel (a 5-fold increase), wheat and meslin (a 10% decrease), bituminous coal (a 2-fold increase), uncoated paper and paperboard (-12%), petroleum oils and oils from bituminous minerals (not crude) (+36%), manufactured tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes (+57%). These goods accounted for 94% of all Russia’s export to the Philippines.
