Moscow supplies goods and services to almost two hundred countries

Last year, exporters from the capital city cooperated with partners from 184 countries, said the CEO of the Moscow export centre, Kirill Ilyichev, in an interview with RIA Novosti. According to him, mechanical equipment, machinery and computers take the top spots on the list of deliveries.

Kazakhstan, Belarus, Egypt, the USA and Algeria have become leaders in the import of non-primary non-energy goods from the capital of our country. As noted, exports to Algeria and Egypt decreased last year. Thus, the former country imported one and a half billion dollars from Moscow, which is 42.2 percent less than in 2017, and the share of non-primary non-energy exports to the latter North African state decreased by almost 16 percent and amounted to one and a half billion dollars.

Last year, the Moscow export centre formed a database of “hot contacts” of companies, which includes both participants of foreign economic activity and those who plan to start exporting. Now there are two and a half thousand companies on the list, and, by the end of this year, the list is expected to at least double in size.

Earlier, it was reported that, in addition to equipment, machinery and computers, communication equipment, automotive equipment, optics, devices, medical equipment and household chemicals are most actively exported from the capital. In addition, we would like to remind you that non-oil exports of the Republic of Tatarstan are planned to be doubled in size.
