In the bilateral trade structure Russia’s export accounted for 68% of the turnover (+32% compared to 2017), while its import accounted for the rest 32% (-2%).
Russia’s export to Mexico amounted to $2.94 bn. The major share of supplies was constituted by semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel (66.7%). Besides, Russia exported to Mexico wheat and meslin (9.3%), synthetic rubber (3.9%), nitrogen fertilizers (3.7%), alloy steel in ingots or other primary forms and semi-products of alloy steel (3%), potash fertilizers (1.9%), unwrought aluminum (1.3%), ferrous alloys (1.3%), kraft paper and paperboard (1.1%), petroleum oils and oils from bituminous minerals (1%) and other goods.
Mexico’s export stood at $938 mln. The main export goods supplied to Russia included motor cars and other motor vehicles principally designed for the transport of persons (13.4%), parts and accessorize of motor vehicles (11.2%), telephones (8.6%), medical devices and appliances (6.9%), automatic data processing machines and units thereof (5.2%), copper matte (4.6%) and other goods.
