Italy Increased Fresh Lilies Supplies To Russia

In 2018 Russia imported fresh lilies for the total amount of $6.6 mln, thereby this figure was more than 7000 times as much as country’s export of this production. Last year Russia exported fresh lilies for the total amount of $926, it is a 64% decrease compared to 2017.

The largest supplier of fresh lilies to Russia became Italy (45%). Its export supplies went up by 12% compared to 2017 and reached $2.97 mln. Italy was followed by Belarus (19%), Spain (15%), Denmark (7%), Kenia (4%) and the Netherlands (3%). In total, Russia imported these flowers from 15 countries, including Columbia, Germany, Israel, Kazakhstan, France, Belgium, China, Ecuador and Venezuela.
