Russia-Denmark Trade Turnover Rises

In 2018 Russia-Denmark trade turnover increased by 26% and amounted to $4.89 bn. In the bilateral trade structure Russia’s export prevailed with an 80% share.

For this period Russia exported to Denmark goods for the total amount of $3.89 bn (+32%). The main export commodities traditionally included petroleum and oil products (67.6%), petroleum gases and hydrocarbons (10.7%), semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel (9%), fuel wood in logs, billets etc. (2.4%). Russia’s import from Denmark stood at $999.52 mln (+8%). Denmark supplied mostly pharmaceuticals (7.7%), industrial equipment for food or beverage production (4.8%), animal feed (4.2%), reaction initiators, accelerators and catalytic preparations (3.9%), enzyme preparations (2.9%), antiserum and blood fraction (2.7%), furnaces and ovens (2.5%), tricycles and scooters (2.4%) and other goods.
