Russia Trade Turnover Showed An Increased In 2018

According to the Federal Custom Service of Russia, in 2018 Russia’s trade turnover amounted to $692.6 bn (+17.6% compared to 2017).


Export surplus totaled $211.6 bn, it is a $80.6 bn increase compared to the previous year.

Russia’s export reached $452.1 bn (+25.6%). About 87.9% of all Russian exports went to far-abroad countries, while CIS countries accounted for 12.1% of export supplies.

Russia’s import amounted to $240.5 bn (+5.1%). Far-abroad and CIS countries accounted respectively for 89% and 11% of Russia’s import.
Russia’s top trade partners among far-abroad countries in 2018 included China (+24.5%), Germany (+19.3%), the Netherlands (+19.4%), Italy (+12.7%), Turkey (+15.7%), the USA (+7.9%), the Republic of Korea (+29.1%), Poland (+31%), Japan (+17%), and France (+11.2%).
